Last updated: 27 October 2026

These terms govern your use of SailLib at saillib.com. By using the service you agree to them.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use SailLib. If you use it for a company, you confirm that you may bind that company.

You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information.

Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.

You keep ownership of what you publish. You give SailLib a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, translate and distribute it inside the service according to your visibility settings, for as long as you keep it published.

You confirm that you have the right to publish it, including photos, video and text from other people.

Do not break the law, harass or threaten others, post hateful, violent or deceptive material, send spam, impersonate others, publish false listings, collect data from the service by automated means or attack the service.

SailLib is a platform. Sales, charters, crew arrangements and other deals are made between users and not with SailLib. We do not guarantee listings, prices, availability or the identity of users.

Check boats, documents and people yourself and be careful with payments. Catalogue data comes from public sources and may contain mistakes.

Maps, places, routes and other information on SailLib are for general information only. Never use them as your only source for navigation or safety decisions. Use official charts, notices and your own judgement.

We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law. You can report content in the service. You may delete your account at any time.

The SailLib name, design and software belong to us or our licensors. Catalogue and media content may belong to third parties. Do not copy or reuse it without permission.

SailLib is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for deals between users.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.

We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date shown here, and if you keep using SailLib you accept it.

The laws of the country where the operator is established apply, without removing the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence. Contact us through the Support section of your account.
